Who we are

Vexio is a Discord moderation bot and its companion website. This policy explains which data they process and why.

Data stored by the bot

Per server: configuration (language, log channels, filters, automatic sanctions).

Moderation cases: Discord IDs of the member and moderator, action, reason typed by the moderator, channel, duration and dates.

Reports: Discord IDs of the reporter, the author and the message, and how the report was handled. The content of the reported message is shown to moderators but never written to the database.

Anonymous daily statistics: number of servers and members, number of commands used per command name. No user identifier.

What we never collect

Vexio does not use Discord’s privileged intents: it does not read the content of your server’s messages, does not track presence, and does not log message deletions.

The website does not ask for your e-mail address.

Website and login

Logging in with Discord gives the website your Discord ID, username, avatar and the list of your servers (scopes “identify” and “guilds”), only to show the servers you can manage.

This information and the Discord access token are kept in an encrypted cookie for at most 7 days. Logging out deletes the cookie and revokes the token.

A “vexio_lang” cookie remembers your language. No advertising or tracking cookie is used.

Retention

When Vexio is removed from a server, all data of that server is automatically deleted after 30 days.

Server administrators can ask for the deletion of their server’s data earlier by contacting the operator.

Contact

For any question or request about your data, contact the bot operator through the support server listed in the footer.
